Join Johan Vineyards May 18th, 11-5pm, in celebrating our founder, Dag Sundby's, Norwegian heritage at our Syttende Mai (Constitution Day) Celebration. We will have wine tasting, Norwegian foods, Fjord horses, traditional costumes, music and fun. Fee is $10 per person which includes wine tasting and food.

Scandinavians have a long tradition of celebrating the Summer Solstice with bonfires or raising of the Maypole (Majstång). Here in Portland that tradition has being celebrated for 84 continuous years at the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival.
Midsummer in Scandinavia's northern climate is the biggest coming out celebration of the year and everyone is invited. At Portland's Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, it is a celebration of fertile fields, warmer and longer days with games, dancing, food, Scandinavian crafts and of course the raising of the Maypole.

Please join us Memorial Weekend in the release of our 2012 Konkret
Chardonnay, 2011 Pinot Gris Drueskall and our 2011 Pinot Noir Estate. We will also have Viking Soul Food, food cart from Portland(minus Gundrun the cart) selling their wonderful lefse wraps, both savory and sweet.
We will be open for regular tastings on Monday, 5/27.
